It should be 26k base and loaded should be 28k.
I am hoping that it comes out like that.
Because any more your getting close to X prices.
Isn't the SOCAL Mitsubishi selling their base GSR for 29k now?

If it's say 26.5k base and SCM does it for near invoice, then we're looking at around 25k before TTL for a base RA. That would really make the choice easier for people who want the RA but are still considering the competitors in the same price point.

And the original Poll question should be based on the base price. Too ambiguous with depending on options.

he was reading from his computer screen as he spoke. the mitsu invoices said 33,800 for the loaded rotor glow orange. I don't think he was juicing me.

I work for Mitsu as well and if you want the Rotor Glow, the paint charge is $150. I have the invoices right in front of me. If you want to add wind deflectors, all-weather floor mats etc... The price goes up a bit, but $33,800 seems a bit steep.

I just don't want people to be taken advantage of. Maybe they have some additional "market adjustment" in there as well. If you have any questions, PM me.

Edmunds estimated the base price to be $27,665 and Mitsu confirmed that was very close.

I figure invoice will be around $26,000 flat.

Grand total: $29,415 — and we've been given not-so-subtle confirmation that this is a very, very good guess for the car you see here.

Autoweek says that the base MSRP will be UNDER 27K.

For just under $27,000 including freight, the Lancer Ralliart will be one hot ride when it hits showrooms in September.

Even when it is filled to the rim with all add-on goodies the car is big bang for the bucks. A loaded Ralliart comes with Recaro seats, Sirius Satellite Radio, upgraded headlamps and a navigation system, and tops out near $30,000.

A Mitsubishi official confirmed the pricing at a high-speed test drive. While final prices are still yet not cast in stone, the company weighs the impact of fluctuations in the dollar and yen.

Auto Week (July 9th)
well...that's sounds more realistic.
Geez.
It's suppose to compete with the WRX.
I can seen this new Subaru Impreza GT going for that. That would be more sound.
But a 234hp AWD car at 34k?
If that was the case, I WILL go for the X or (hate to say) a used IX.
I mean, is the IX faster and better then the 09 R/A? uh...yep.

Thanks for the post, DUFF.
Was gonna s*** an anaconda.
