Cool video, thanks for posting. Think this is the first video I've seen posted of the Ralliart actually putting in some track time.
Edit: The blog for this team/race is http://thestar.blogs.com/crank/
Interesting bit of information they posted "it gained around 15 hp over the stock Ralliart’s 235, the big brother Evo’s front brake package and new coil over suspension" I think someone was asking about whether this swap was possible, first answer I've found.

We need a lot more details on the mods so I'm subscribing. I wonder how much stress a targa rally will put on the tranny?
Very cool. I actually enjoyed seeing and hearing the stock RA on the track more than the modified one. This sucker is now definitely in my crosshairs now. Just have to see if I want to wait for the Sportback or not.

[is it too much to ask for widescreen to actually be widescreen? -- I'm tired of bozo video settings that make everyone look too fat or too thin -- the Ralliart looks about 2/3 its actual length in some of those shots... luckily they didn't mess with the soundtrack]

The latest entry in the blog (http://thestar.blogs.com/crank/2008/...newfoun-1.html) has a fairly radical paint job on their Ralliart:
Trending Topics
The aspect ratio was really bugging me and they also didn't show the ralliart stripped down in the shop, that was an Evo X (notice front bumper and brake calipers)
Still cool to hear it before and after modifications - wonder what they ended up doing to it.
I also wonder what other cars times were around that track for comparison purposes.

From day 2...
"After Musketeer Racing had had their way with the Ralliart in prepping it for this year’s Targa, it gained around 15 hp over the stock Ralliart’s 235, the big brother Evo’s front brake package and new coil over suspension. Yet even at the today's relaxed speeds during what is essentially a shake-down day, the car felt composed and —more importantly— fast through the tight school stages."

Wait was it just me? or was that Ralliart a Manual Tranny? I just did a quick sweep again and on the video I keep seeing the driver's hand go down and fail to see the paddle shifters... maybe I'm crazy
You can manually shift it as well with the lever not just the paddles..
