ralliart to evo body
ralliart to evo body
how much would this be do you think? i love the ralliart. interior looks like the evo, got awd, and TC-SST! but it looks even more homely than the GTS imo. the rounded lip in the front, the narrow body and tires...is it even possible to switch out some body panels to make it look wider and more aggressive like the evo?
or would the money spent on this feat almost equal the cost of a GSR...well actually i'd rather compare it to the MR since i really want the new tranny. since i started working as a fresh grad out of university, i've found downtown traffic to work isn't very fun with a manual stick shift...and my gf can't drive it

Look at what people have done to their lancers, since the RA is similar, if not the same body size. Bodykit.com has some items. Chances are install will be just as much, if not more than the kit itself, for it to be done right, properly smoothed, & of course painted (add another $1k at least). You can get a base GSR for $28,999 & a base MR for around $35k-$36k. I would say it's not worth it... but then again, I really don't like 95% of the kits out there.
if your gonna go through the dealer your gonna spend about 4 grand for a new bumper. finding some side skirts for some reason mitsu dosent carry the side skirts seperate..the rear bumper, new doors, and find a body shop to to mold the rear fenders and buy front fenders.. and then have all that painted. so yes once you get all of that done your in GSR range. if not more 28k RA +4k ur at 32 not worth it..
i looked into doing it for my GTS a while back..but kidna thought of it as a bad investment..sold the gts.. even tho it would look nice to have an evo and your girl have one that looks like one..she dosent need the speed of any evo anyway but she likes the look..so im still consdering it or at least the GTR widebody from accolade which has a diff front bumper. but comes with rear fenders and diffusers and such

When the price range of a Evo & RA so close in America, i don't see why you wanted to do that. As said, after the converting, it might cost almost near to a MR.
Yes, i know you gonna say its still cheaper, but at the end of the day, its still a lancer ralliart. Its no difference as a ricer lancer that pretend to be a evo. Either accept what the car is, or just save up more for the real thing

another thing... for the money it would cost to buy a ralliart a thousand or so more, and you could have an EVO X. for the money it would cost to buy a ralliart and convert the body to an EVO X, you could have an EVO X MR.
