Why do you want an RA?
Cause all their brands are stronger and their marketing is stronger and they are better run companies... and they (MS3 and 09 WRX) are faster and handle better than the ralliart for less money... So ralli art only has good looks on its side
Why wouldn't I buy an RA:
Because for a bit more you can get the Evo power, handling, looks, and gas mileage. Plus there's tons of companies out there making any kind of mod you'd ever think of. Although, I wouldn't buy a X and I seriously considered waiting: too sedan looking and heavy.
Just my opinion. Love my IX!!!

Or it could be that he lives in a different area then other people? But that makes too much sense, so it's got to be something wrong with mitsu.
Getting back on topic. Reasons I want:
1. SST- DD ability while being sporty enough for me to drive aggresively and take it to track days (I won't lag so far behind my dad's porsche).
2. AWD- Always had FF, want to experience something different. Dang Rally videos on youtube don't help either
3. Turbo- Honda NA has been nice but there is just something about turbo's ...
Reason's I may not want:
1. The horrible grinding and clunking sensation in city driving that was reported in one of the camparo's or reviews. My commute is 3 hours in Los Angeles rush our traffic.
2. The overall reliability and quality issue I have experienced with Mitsubishi. I owned a 2g eclipse that lasted till 80,000 before the tranny blew up and all the valves bent. Plus, the consumer report and JD power ratings are right there around VW which is not promising.
Overall, the RA is still my #1. It is the only car that mostly fits with my lifestyle now which is probably in line with what other people want from the RA.

I have seen 3 Evo X's in my area. I see the one TB X pretty much everyday. I see a Lancer on pretty much every major street I hit. I have 2 other guys with GTS's that I meet with on a regular basis. Lancer are everywhere around here. No Ralliarts yet tho
. I've only seen 1 Challenger here so far...I've seen more Lambos than Challenger lol

I could have gotten the faster 328 or 330 but i did not need that since i dont need to race or go super fast! So i got what suited me and saved money too...
The only reason the BMW badge matters is cause its a sign of a respected car maker...LOL...
My car is still better than yours:
1. Better design and looks E46
2. better build quality and materials inside and out
3. better engine classic I6 M52B25T
4. can last up to 250K+ miles and still run strong
5. better brand/badge only cause they built up a great reputation by making good cars especially the E46s
Lancer are known to be POSs in the car world hense why EVO drives hate the fact that their car is called a an evolution "lancer" and often remove the lancer badge to fool the ignorant..
I owned a 2003 lancer ES POS so i know how lancers are..lol
All talk aside get me in an XMR for $30K or less and im back in a lancer..EVO that is!
