Front liscense plate mounting?

Anybody got any ideas on how to mount the front plate on a ralliart without drilling the front of the car? Checked evo 10 forum for ideas but the front end is different and allows more option that wont work for ralliarts, any ideas?

It should already be on the side, if they didn't mount it there I would get a RHO plate or just ziptie to grill for now

too late for me...my dealer already drilled the holes at the center....I can't believe I didn't think of the front plate ruining the aggressive look of the Ralliart! darn

Same thing happened to me. I am going to get the plate moved to the side. The two holes on the front are a pain, but they arent that big a problem. Mitsubishi has black rubber plugs that fit into the holes and are secured by screws. I asked them for the length/thread of the screws, bought them in black, now don't even really notice them unless you're standing right in from of the car and inspecting the grill.

wait so I can just go to a Mitsubishi dealer and buy these plugs? how much are they? I'm thinking about the OEM EVO X side mounting kit but it's like $50!

They gave me the plugs for free. They may actually already be on your car, behind the license plate depending on how they installed it.

(kinda of hard to explain, but the same screws securing the license plate also secure the plugs - you take the plate off there will still be some small screw-sized holes through the middle, which I then filled with black screws to hide).

My dealership never put a front tag on my car, I have not had any problems with the police yet. There was the mounting bracket in the trunk though and thats where it still is.

so there shouldnt be a reason the Evo X side plate mounting kit wouldn't fit the Ralliart right? $30 is not too bad i guess...

Anyone got an actual photo of the Ralliart with a centre-mounted plate (or link to a photo somewhere else here), for those of us who haven't got their car yet? I'd like to know whether to tell the dealer to mount the Evo kit instead.
