Buy Now or Wait For Recaro Package?

I've been following this car (and this site) for the better part of this year and finally decided to actually register. My local dealerships got some RAs in and I had a chance to look at, test drive, talk about, etc. the car. I mainly looked at 2 dealerships, the first had a single rotor glow RA but agreed to do a search for my car, Black w/ Recaro & Nav. The second had a rotor glow and a gray and pretty much told me that they would wanted to push those 2 and really wouldn't be able to do a search for me at this time. They both emphasized the fact that they just get what Mitsubishi sends them and that they had not seen a Recaro package yet.

Fast forward a little, I got a call the other day from Dealership #1 saying they can have black one with Nav. in 2-3 days but the Recaro package is 6-7 months away. Nothing is set in stone yet but obviously that's a decision to make. Realistically, I don't need the car right now...I've made it this far without one. However, I'd be lying if I said I didn't want this car like right now. Was just looking for some input from you guys.

I got the Recaros.
Wait for it. It will be worth it.
I test drove the R/A w/o the Recaros and due to the additional power in it you might feel more comfortable with the Recaros.
But make sure you sit in an Evo just to feel if the Recaros are what you want.
That might help you in your decision.

If you want the Recaros wait for them. If you settle for the GTS seats you will end up regretting it. I don't know too many people that 'settled' for a car that wasn't quite what they wanted and didn't have regrets later.

Remember the HID's come with the Recaro package, and they are thousands to add after the fact.

that was my thoughts.
With the recaros you get the HID's and the Sound system.
And the HID's are electronically adjustable.
Which is a nice touch to it.
Sure you can pay for everything seperate.
But how much will you pay for the base?
How much are Recaros? $1500?
How much for HID's?
How much is a 750 watt amp and a 10" speaker.
How much is to install the speakers clean and neat?

You can install all of these.
But will you do it by yourself?

If i remember correctly i believe the HID's were somewhere around the $1500-$2000 range from a dealer. It's worth it to get the recaros, HID, and sound if you plan on getting that stuff anyway.

You'll never get all the stuff the Recaro pack offers for anywhere near $2750 if you try to do it all aftermarket.

Just one seat alone is near $2600 if you buy it later. You don't find racing seats with side airbags for cheap.

get the package, it is very worth it.

Thank you all for your input so far. I really do have my eyes set on the HIDs and a sound system would be nice...chances are those would be things that I wouldn't end up doing on my own (or at least not in the near future). At this point, these are probably the 2 things I want the most out of the package.

As for the actual seats, I like them and I feel that they really add something to the overall look of the car. I did sit in the Evo to get a feel for the seats but it was for a very short period of time and I didn't adjust the position at all (needed to be tilted forward some and moved a little closer to the wheel). They were comfortable, but I couldn't get a good feel on the height for driving. I'm not particularly tall and when it comes to the Recaros, that is my only concern...they're definitely nice, but I'm not sure if they are practical for me.

Standard seats suck. They don't have nearly enough bolstering to hold you in place if you decide to drop or go with coilovers. Wait for the Recaros.
