Tires

From how bad I hear the stock RA tires are, it should transform the car. Unless you are just looking for straight line, then tune and exhaust

If the Ralliart has the same fuel pump and injectors as the X, which its rumored to, you will never reach the limit of either on the stock turbo.

So where did you find the stats on this........ since NO one has actually got this done yet.

I already did spent my 1K on exhaust and springs. Im not expecting miracles for HP gains but I'll bet it will be noticeable. Plus who doesn't want a little extra growl from the back end? even if the gains are not big. Honda guys do it all the time!!!

Basic logic. A catback does nothing on a WRX, nothing on an STI, nothing on an Evo, thus it likely does nothing on a Ralliart.

exhaust and tune.
best bet for 1000.

I hear that an intake really doesn't do much for turbo cars because the turbo takes car of that.
What i heard is that the intake for the turbo is simply just to get air in.
More like a point of entry if anything.

Amby,
how much do sways bars usually run?
I wanna reduce body roll.

My thoughts on mods and this is probably the extent.
exhaust and tune, sway bars, tires/rims then lowering.
that's pretty much all i want to do.
Maybe get a few dressups for the exterior and interior. Nothing over the top, more like add-ons.

I am not too fond of the stiffness of the car with coilovers, but i really never had a problem with the Eibach sport springs or the Eibach Ground Controls.
The lowering springs felt more like stock suspension aside from you just being lowered. The coilovers feel a little stiff.
KYB gas shocks are pretty decent too.
But this may not be the way to go, given this is my first AWD whip.

If you want power yes, if you want sound, go for whatever you want.

Good sway bars should cost about 400$ for a full set (front and rear).

I spent close to that but I also bought endlinks. I'm not sure how the sway bar attaches in the Ralliart.

I'd try and find a used turbo-back and then tune. However I read the suspension was overly squishy in Road & Track and stiffer springs may help until you can get some new struts(stiffer springs will kill your stock struts so plan ahead). Definately wanna replace the stock shoes and socks when you get a chance. Power ain't nuttin if you can't connect.

Header Back Exhaust and air-intake or a better coilovers set

No need for a BPV or MBC/EBC if not a EVO (referring to your RA comment)
