EcuFlash 09 Ralliart tables Vs. Evolution 10 tables

The disassembly efforts for the 09 Ralliart have started and I wanted to share some differences in the ECU Rom between the 09 RA and Evo 10 that have been found so far.

Evo 10 ignition timing table:

09 Ralliart ignition timing table:

Evo 10 fuel table:

09 Ralliart fuel table:

09 Ralliart and Evo 10 injector scaling and latency tables:

Looks like the 09 RA and Evo 10 share the same injectors.

09 Ralliart and Evo 10 injector scaling and latency tables:

Evo 10 on left, 09 RA on right. Looks like the RA has a lower rev limiter and the boost limit is lower, which makes sense since it runs lower boost than the Evo 10

I quess that answers some questions we had on the other thread on here about tuning differences between RA and Evo.

Its obvious that they are going to have different maps. Thats why there is a need for testing and tuning for the RA.

Interesting that it has a lower rev limiter....

Has anyone been able to confirm if the internals of these 2 4B11's are the same?

You have to wait, until some one actually will open one up.

I have been able to through several sources inside Mitsubishi and on the official press kit that bolt for bolt the long block is the same.

The review at clubralliart.com mentions that the rev limiter is lower than the Evos, I thought.

"It also has reduced rev capability compared to it big brother with redline occurring at 6500 rpms versus the Evo’s 7000 and the limiter cutting in at 6800 compared to 7600 for the Evo." The quote borrowed from the other site...it's probably something that can be changed on the chip.

How the SST will react for the raised rev limiter?
It can throw the code, which could lead to the safe mode in the tranny ecu.

I wonder how much hp you would pick up by simply swapping timing maps onto the ralliart lol...Intresting stuff Bryan

Also, the cam profiles are different. Which is a factor on that chosen rev limiter.

how do you know the cam profiles are different. i cant find source for that.
But if its true ,then i assume the engine will have inside differences as well.
One already will be a cams. Which is make sense, since the turbo is smaller etc.
If that is true.

Cams are the same. All guts are the same. Turbo is going to be the limiter.

The SST is same (or mostly same) in the EV0/RA. Do you think the SST in the RA would really be an issue if the Evo doesn't have an issue at that RPM? I'm assuming your talking about rasing the rev limit in the RA to match the Evo? I can't see there being an issue really accept as said above, the size of the Trubo. TTP is hands on one right now so I guess we should all find out shortly! maybe they will be able to add super sport? fun fun
