You're .02 does not think about other payments that need to be covered. Insurance payments are way more exp with evo's in general.

I can agree that 09 is overpriced for the performance you get. But not everyone is in it for the performance.

Just my .02

I was just offered an 09' WW Ralliart for $26,650 with "Recaro" package plus 5.5% tax of course. I don't feel comfortable with this kind of sales though. I told them I signed for one and now it's a bidding war!

I had some trouble with the snow out here so I just put on some black enkies (16's) and cooper winter tires. I was fishtailing with mild braking on the thin stock tires. Winter tires made a huge difference for me.

Thats weird. Must be really heavy weighted braking to the fronts.

It could have just been the slickness of the road, too. Maybe the front wheels just missed some ice and the rears were slipping on it? Not too sure.

White would be so much better if you could get the gunmetal wheels.

Anyone driven their Ralliart through deep snow yet? (more than six inches, or more than 15 cm) -- the body seems way too low (and the wheel wells too cramped) to manage in anything more than shallow snow, so right now I'm living in fear of getting snowed into the parking lot at work some day (we get fairly deep snow at least a few times most years, often deep wet snow). I mean, I'll still have traction on snow, especially with the snow tires, but how does the Ralliart handle snow depth? Until I hear otherwise, I'm going to keep away from anything more than plowed roads.

[my previous car was a Protege (FWD), and it could handle about eight inches (20 cm) before struggling, but there the problem was usually traction, not clearance]

The wheel wells seem very open to me. The only problem I could see in deep snow is the front spoiler acting like a plow.

hey captg, congrats on your buy ! WW makes all the lines and trims stand out much more than any other color, at least I feel that way about my 04 Ralliart Anyway, I'm curious for other details on your deal. Currently the MITSU website is advertising 0% APR for 48 months, and it even mentions $2,000 rebate thru Jan 5th, although I'm not sure if the rebate applies to Lancers or other models... Either way, did you get any of those good deals?
