I'm currently working on the intake pipe and small battery kit. The car will be going to the fabrication dept. here shortly to have an exhaust made.

hi Eric,

so if you take X intercooler, X licp you should be allset on hot side
then if you want to keep the ralliart uicp, you just need coupler b/w the bigger X interooler exit pipe and ralliart uicp, and you should be allset??

what if you want to change the UICP, can you use the aftermarket X without or with some additional coupler mods?

Thanks for your help to understand the specifics of making this work

Our Evo X FMIC fits with some modification...but.....you would need to run either the alluminum section of the stock EVO X LICP or an aftermarket LICP for an Evo X. The Ralliart pipe is made of plastic, has quite a few crushed areas and does not meet the intercooler in the same place as the Evo X. I would recommend replacing it while doing a FMIC anyway. Some people will probably just address this issue by unbolting the pipe brackets and forcing it to go into the coupler anyway. I do not want to do this as I think everything you buy as a consumer should fit as perfectly as OEM.

If we made a FMIC that meets up with the stock Ralliart LICP, it would delay the release, cost more due to lower production, and would require a long coupler to work and may not fit very well with any LICP already made for the Evo X. You would then be buying two parts with lower production and less availability for your car.

The UICP on the Ralliart is smaller in diameter than the Evo X. It is barely over 2", even at the FMIC inlet. This would work with a FMIC, but would require a 2"-2.5" transistion coupler.

In a nutshell, the entire intake and IC system on the Ralliart leaves much to be desired. Would you rather see the products interchange with the Evo X for more choices, or direct fitment for the less desirable Ralliart charge pipes?

The exhaust is going to be totally different. We are starting out with a single exit exhaust that looks just like the Evo X exhaust. The twin tip system will come later.

You will not be able to use the Ralliart UICP with an Evo X style intercooler. the stock UICP would actually protrude inside the end tank of the bigger intercooler. Unfortunately they made everything different enough to not work. You could use our UICP with the stock intercooler with a long 2-2.5 transistion hose. You could possibly use the stock LICP with an X intercooler with a longer coupler, but its pretty badly mismatched.

Our Evo X and Ralliart UICP and LICPs will be the same. Only the FMIC will be different, only because of mounting.

Here is the baseline for the Ralliart dyno'd on a Dynojet 424x.

We are waiting software updates to hopefully be able to flash the Ralliart here very soon.
