HID headlights
if only they offer the package at all in Aus, it may cost A$4K but I believe it still worth it. it improves the driving feel, looks and resale value.
I have the same problem tried to order hid's from the factory the whole kit, One guy said its like 1,100$ plus labor, then called another dealer and he said you cant order any item in the recaro package from the factory for the ralliart, Thats crazy

There will only be a problem with the aftermarket HID kits when the DRL's activate. The HID's will flicker.
So you can either have your low beam on all the time, or relay the DRL's.

Not to bad??? I paid 29K OTD for my EVO X... now I just gotta find a cheap Navi system or pay the dealer $1700 for the Navi/Install Kit and do it myself.
We tried swapping HID lights into a non-hid evo X. The factory wiring is different and it will not work. Same would go for the Ralliart.
You will have problems with an HID kit in a standard Evo/Ralliart too. The car uses the lowbeam light at reduced voltage as the daytime running light. This will throw the ballast of an HID kit into a frenzy and you would have to make sure you turn the headlights on before the daytime running lights activated.

theres a thread on here titled "oem hids" that has a site that has oem evo x hid headlight assemblies for 400 something a side. supposedly you can just swap them out without any issues.
I just got my RA last Sat. and they had received their 3rd shipment of Evos this year. Economy must not be that bad! Atleast in the Chicagoland area.
