I figured that but it's not a simple swap. To use all OEM equipment would cost 2 to 4 times what it would to go aftermarket. You'd need the HID equipped headlight housing, you'd need the bulbs, you'd need all the wiring and all the switches. I wouldn't be surprised if that cost over a thousand dollars right now. By comparison you can buy a conversion kit for 150$-400$ depending on what you want.

He probably got a really good deal on his car, and probably thought that he could upgrade to HID/projector headlights later or something.

See if Lightwerkz is willing to work with you and see if they could do a retrofit for a Ralliart! That would be the one of the best solutions and cleanest. They would be S2000 or TSX projectors. http://www.lightwerkz.net/ -Quote-

Maybe you can find lights from a wrecked Evo that had the projectors and HIDs. I gotta admit.. I HATE the lights in my WRX. They are total garbage compared to my wifes Scion TC with projectors so I can understand why you wanna upgrade.
Because none of the dealers around here bothered to order any with that package, they didnt think the cost of the package was worth what you got, Recaros, headlights, and a sound system.
We tried swapping HID lights into a non-hid evo X. The factory wiring is different and it will not work. Same would go for the Ralliart.
You will have problems with an HID kit in a standard Evo/Ralliart too. The car uses the lowbeam light at reduced voltage as the daytime running light. This will throw the ballast of an HID kit into a frenzy and you would have to make sure you turn the headlights on before the daytime running lights activated.
