Gas mileage is pretty much the same as my GTi that i had, which was chipped, intake and exhaust..also bc i have a lead foot so that doesnt help at all , but you need to remember that AWD will always use more gas, than a 2WD vehicle

I do a lot of driving. I commute 70+ miles a day. I just got my RalliArt a couple days ago, and I got 27mpg just cruisin on the freeway. If you want to get decent fuel economy you can. It's just difficult when you have that much power ready and willing to put you in the back of your seat right under your foot. If your cruisin you'll be fine. Don't not get the car cuz your scared of the fuel economy. The car is great! I got rid of my loaded B7 Audi A4 that I bought just a year ago to get this car and I absolutely love it!

With a little bit of city and a lot of highway driving (cruising at 65-70), I've been getting a solid 23mpg. If I'm in the mood for some extra punch, I give it around 17-18mpg.

Even with the different 5th/6th gear ratios, the mpgs aren't great. But, I never really considered great mpg when I bought my RA. Going from an '05 Tiburon and getting an (estimated) 16mpg overall - its a small improvement that I wasn't expecting.

Not that bad really, traffic stop and go about 17 mpg and one highway trip I did touch 24 mpg -- about the same as my old subie, all the while not really broken in yet.

That's not completely fair -- the Altima hybrid isn't entirely crappy, and it does have moderate power.

I average 20mpg. The highest is 24mpg. All kinds of driving. I don't park the car like some evo owners. 20-25k miles a year. 5k miles in a month and a half.

I'm used to it, my evo does 15mpg....AWD turbo cars usually do 20-22mpg anyways...don't matter what company.

I drive all over and seem to average 20-21 at the end of every day. Get quite a bit better if I going down the highway w/ cruise control on.

I get 28 city...and have more power...
but the weight and drivetrain are the culprits, not power. The mazdaspeed 6 is also AWD and achieves greater mpg than the ralliart.
