CP-E should have one ready soon as well. Not much else out there at this time.

A SRI is a hot air intake unless you have shielding. Moreover you generally need a tune with an intake if it changes the way the air flows (which it should). A lot of aftermarket intakes "work" by essentially tricking the ECU into thinking there is less air than is actually there thus leaning out the mixture. This can be problematic since hotter air is more likely to cause detonation (as well as reduces power) and leaner air is hotter (and more detonation prone). SCC has a really nice article on this, I'll see if I can find it for you guys.

I was talking to CP-e yesterday they indicated in about 3 weeks they have their SRI out and there will be an option/ application to change it to CAI. The SRI will be first.

yes, but dont you think the turbo is going to heat up the air a hell of alot more by compressing it then the non substantial extra 10-20 degrees you will get from an intake without shielding? what you are saying is true in a N/A car no doubt... but it means much less in a turbo/ intercooled car. obviously you still want the coolest incoming air possible, but id rather have 10 degree warmer air that flows more freely, than cooler air that has to go through a mile of pipe to get to where it needs to go.

Any additional heat is a bad thing, this is why the car stock tries to get the coldest air possible. 10-20 degrees is significant and can result in detonation as well as reduced power. It means everything in a turboed car. Look at some of the logs various tuners have done when someone puts a SRI on their Evo/STI, intake temperature rises above stock, timing is retarded and power invariably goes down. I highly doubt that the Ralliart has intake issues stock, if the system is good enough for the Evo, it's fine for the Ralliart.
