ASC Off

I believe ASC is the traction control and stability mechanisms. If i press the button "ASC Off" will there be any indications of the switch? Because when i press it, nothing happens

you have the car and you dont even know what ASC is or how to deactivate it? there should be a test for this kind of ignorance when you buy a performance vehicle

Wow, that's kind of harsh. The Ralliart isn't exactly a performance vehicle. It's a mid range 4 door that happens to have a small turbo and awd. It's not an EVO. It's like saying a audi a6 is a performance vehicle.

I wasn't exactly sure what ASC standed for, but I was aware it controls the TC and Stability Control. I don't see what's wrong in that.

Dont worry about others man. Everyone has a question that seems ridiculous to others yet there is always someone in the crowd that is grateful the question was asked.

Its easy to criticize. lord knows there are plenty of posters and moderators alike that just sling insults.

So long as you put a good faith effort into finding the answers on your own first, dont ever hesitate to ask / post.

And as for that ASC button. Since you have to hold it down forever, it would appear at first try it doesnt do anything. I thought the same thing when I got mine.

One more thing. Be careful when ASC is off! It can get away from you if your not careful.

Chill out....its a forum. Ya ever wonder what its for? Its for asking questions of all kinds...... ( no such thing as a stupid question)

But I do agree....about it being a performance car. If guys don't see it as one right now, then there is plenty 'O' potential. Been looking at the AMS chip thats showing a lot of promise. vs the Z chip.

im just saying if you dont know that asc is active stability control then why are you buying this type of vehicle? the regular lancer may be the car for you.... To me, the only type of people that should be buying this vehicle are the kind of people who understand the technology that is contained within it

do you understand ever piece of technology in this car? What about how every piece of electronic works, down to the core? Simple question, simple answer. Hold it down wait till you see the light on the dash. No need to go all bananas on him.

Cars are like women, buy one that looks good then figure out the internals. Once you do that trade it in for the newer model
