Pill is a part of the boost assembly, upgraded will allow for less boost leak therefore a better power curve.
The solenoids in the boost assembly send signals to the wqastegate actuator to stay shut and build boost. The pill will modify the signal to keep the actuator shut longer. The stock pill limits how much modification can be made to the signal. Upgraded pill will allow for a more modified signal, hence more boost buildup.

You will not have to pay the full price to get you tune updated. Once it is tested, you may not even have to send your ecu back at all.

In the event that you did need a tune 'update' for some new mods. It would be about $200.

What about the cost of having the the ECU re-flashed to OEM settings?
