Find of the year!!!
12s is going to be a hell of a problem with the stock turbo, it simply can't flow enough air. I suspect you'll have to switch to the Evo turbo or larger to get close (shaving 2 seconds off your 1/4 mile time is hard as hell). Another issue is launching, without launch control it'll be difficult to get off the line hard and fast. There's also the ever present issue of the transmission. People can claim 400 whp all they want, it doesn't make it fact. I've seen Lancer guys claim 200 whp NA but it's BS. Just because an SST doesn't literally blow up doesn't mean it's handling the power. I believe it was TTP that indicated the car effectively drops torque output if it senses slippage. This means you can be making 500 HP at the crank but it won't get to the ground because the tranny doesn't want to die. It's a big gamble and I suggest people actually drive a real 300 WHP (ie. not on a dynojet where your grandma could dyno 20 WHP) car before they start shooting for some arbitrary number. 300 WHP on some dynos is a stupidly fast car.
300 WHP is obtainable with an exhaust and a tune if you pick the right dyno. However, on a decent dyno (ie. one that actually indicates what you're making on the street) the small turbo in the Ralliart is unlikely to hit 300 WHP. 300 wtq yes but 300 WHP no.
