Turbo timer & 1st oil change

Hey guys, newbie here, seeing as I just got my ralliart about a week a ago. Loving the car so far.

So has anyone installed a turbo timer to their ralliart yet? I hate having to sit there waiting before I turn off the car. Would there be any problems installing it?

Secondly, when did you do your first oil change? I'm thinking about at the 1000 mile mark

You shouldn't need a turbo timer unless you drive hard and boost all the way home. I have one in my Evo and I never use it lol.

I did my first oil change right at 1000.

Although the service guys thought I was insane, I knew better than to listen to them. They wanted me to wait till 7500, .

Do your first change whenever you are comfortable, but there is no reason to do it before 3000 miles.

"early" first changes are a remnent of a different time.
