I sent Chris the stuff he needed, but he is on a road trip since last thursday, and back to work today, so still waiting

 

I did install the UR intake and i am getting a cel, I cleared it the first time, then it came back like a day later

 

I got the flash from Chris @AMS, was very simple he just emailed it to me, and i just flashed it with my laptop and cable, but im still waiting to get my boost pill in the mail, so until then i won't notice too much

 

How much was the email flash? So in total (Flash & cable)?

 

500 USD for the flash, and about 169USD plus shipping which was like 40 dollars USD..so it all depends when you buy it, since our dollar is fluctuating up and down right now

 

Did you have to use the reflash connector for the cpu or just Open port 2.0 worked fine? can you show pics on you flashed it yourself.

 

U need the tactrix openport 2.0 cable, and then download the software from http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=Main_Page, install the necessary drivers, plug in the harness, and it will download the required software...

When thats all done, open the the ecuflash software, plug in the cable, to the laptop, and to the car..click on (read ecu), and then it will load everything, and if you have the flash already, open up the new file, the hit the (write ecu) the it will flash it
you check engine light will always come on when you read your ecu, and when u flash it, so after your down clear the DTC's then done

Theres a tab on the top, where the "file" "edit" is and i think its ECU one, click on that, and it will bring these options in the box, and at the bottom there will be the clear DTC, click on that and follow the instructions

 

Have you gotten the pill in, yet?

My pill is in the mail (hopefully it will be waiting when I get back from Philly on Tuesday)

 

yeah got the pill yesterday, very easy to install , cut my finger on that heat shield haha bc its freggin sharp..and the boost at lower rpms is much better, very responsive..stick it in sport mode and its pretty damn good,
