Changing out rims?

The default rims on the RA are alright but they're nothing special. If I wanted to get aftermarket rims, how would it work with the tire pressure monitoring system? Does it just drop in?

Get an aftermarket one since the stock replacements are too expensive from the dealer. Once you get a set then bring it to the dealer and have it recollaborated to your car. Like in my area called Town Fair Tires, they do all the work for you without going to the dealer. Some places are like that, look around in your area and ask questions.

It's a reversible mod, right? I want to be able to return the car to stock at some point in time when I sell it.

Yes I am positive which is why I am saying to get an aftermarket sensor for a new set of rims while the stock is still on the stock rims. But I don't know if you're planning to use the stock tires. If so, then just switch it over. New rims with new tires, then save the hassles and get the aftermarket sensors. Then have it reflashed. It won't do any harm at all. A lot of the members on here have been doing this.

Could just use the stock sensors like he said if your using the stock tires, won't have any problems at all.

I got new tires and rims.
The TPMS sensors usually recalibrate themselves after about 50 miles.
Shops charge roughly about 150 to do them.

So it's just a matter of installing your new rims & tires, and get going right?

Since we're on the topic, does anyone happen to know how much the stock rims weigh?

A friend of mine has some G35 rims with tpms in them. Anyone know if these would work for ralliart? Or different tpms systems in different cars? (I know the rims won't work just asking about the TPMS).
