I think most shops that are selling evo parts should be determining if they're suitable for the R/A. If you find some goodies that you like, call the company and ask if they fit - if they say they don't know, then ask if you could return them at no fee should they not. Otherwise, tell 'em to get bent and find someone who will.

^ Better yet, tell them to send you the part for free and you will experiment to see if the part fits. If it does you can let them know and they can advertise it as an R/A performance part as well. Hey it can't hurt to ask, after all, tell them it's your warranty at risk. hehehe...

The X has a bigger booast with its twin scroll turbo.
while we have a single scroll. The behavior is pretty much the same
even with the GSR 5 speed with have some lag with the booast on 5th and 6th gear.

I drove one of my friends X and it has ridiculous handling. I think the X
has the best handling out of all the EVO models. We RA's on the other hand
have the stock EVO 9 suspension. Which is decent but not the crem de la crem...

The only thing from the evo 9 we have are the LSD's.
Not the full suspension.
We have GTS suspension with evo lsds...

The whole rear suspension is a completely different configuration/layout.

That's a little complicated, the RA and the Evo have the same basic engine, the major difference is the Turbo, RA has a single scroll turbo, Evo has a twin scroll turbo.

Body is slightly different, the Evo is 2 inches wider, fenders and bumpers are slightly different while the hood and trunk are the same. Also if you look closely at the roof of both cars you will notice the Evo has raised lines running along the black stripes above the doors.

Basically, the Evo is a widebody RA with a stronger turbo. There are also differences in the suspension. I can't really speak to the differences in suspension, as I'm still a noob myself and learning more everyday.

Mitsubishi offers Evo's in 2 models the MR which has the exact same TC-SST tranny in the RA and the GSR, which has a 5 speed manual transmission.

Oh, and the RA has the...much cooler looking tail lights.

Evo's have an aluminium roof as well as an aluminium suspension and Brembo brakes.

Congrats on your purchase!

I went to the dealer where I got my RA yesterday trying to have my salesman hook up a friend of mine with a new Outlander and he did, and I got 200 bucks for reffering And while I was there I saw this guy with a huge grin cause he got approved on an Apex Silver RA

Glad to see new RA owners every single day

Enjoy!

Oh and yea, there are cheaper ways around other than paying over 2 grands for the Recaro Pack. I didn't get it either
