First Post and My New RA
I drove a VW GTi 1.8t for 5 years switched over to a Mazda 3 three years ago and today bought my first Mitsubishi. I didnt even know that Mitsu was releasing a turbo non evo model until I came upon an add in the mail that they sent my wife, she owns an outlander. I thought hey what the hell, Ive always been in love with the Evo, but couldnt convince myself it was worth the cash. Needless to say 3 hours later my Mazda 3s was sitting in their lot and a Rotor Glow 09 RA was pulling out of the lot with me in the drivers seat. I got it for 24,165 with 0% for 60 months plus $500 loyalty cash since my wife owns a mitsu. I couldnt be happier, it is an absolutely killer looking car and drives like a dream. Im 29 years old and I couldnt see my self getting rocked by the stiffness of the Evo for 5 years or so, so im glad I went with the RA. Now I need to figure out the Sirius radio situation. Ive got a portable unit but it kills me to see the sat button on the stock HU and know that it is a $1200 part. Oh well. Ill post some pics tommorow im working 3rd shift this weekend in the lab so the car is in the parking garage. Maybe ill take some early morning shots with the phone and post them. Thanks Again and I look forward to talking with you.
Now I think I have come up with my first dumb question. Looking around at some of the shops that sponsor the site I am wondering..Are EvoX parts able to fit with the 09 Ralliart? I mean I would assume that some of the engine items might be different but what can I safely assume will fit with this car?

First of all welcome.
That's a little complicated, the RA and the Evo have the same basic engine, the major difference is the Turbo, RA has a single scroll turbo, Evo has a twin scroll turbo.
Body is slightly different, the Evo is 2 inches wider, fenders and bumpers are slightly different while the hood and trunk are the same. Also if you look closely at the roof of both cars you will notice the Evo has raised lines running along the black stripes above the doors.
Basically, the Evo is a widebody RA with a stronger turbo. There are also differences in the suspension. I can't really speak to the differences in suspension, as I'm still a noob myself and learning more everyday.
Mitsubishi offers Evo's in 2 models the MR which has the exact same TC-SST tranny in the RA and the GSR, which has a 5 speed manual transmission.
Oh, and the RA has the...much cooler looking tail lights.
