The tuning they do, is this just a computer altering the ECU or is it more? Just wondering what its going to take to get it back to base flash.

ok if you just have the zchip, disconnect it and you should be good. if they reflashed you AND used the zchip (like mine) then you have to get the base flash.

Our business hours are 11am-7pm EST. FYI.

Calling before or after our business hours is a likely way to reach an answering machine.

Could all those positive things be for the EVO? We are ralliart drivers, could be the main difference right there.

ya i noticed that. took a few calls to get a hold, but i did like i said. I'm not trying to stirr anything up with scott cause like i said my car got great numbers, but it is killing the drivability of it. Im just asking for honesty, if its possible for you to fix the tune it would be great.

ya i was thinking the same thinng, he IS a SICK EVO tuner but the RA is not an evo..ya i know sucks but it is what it is. Now on TTP defense, i did talk to someone else with a reflash from another tuner and he is having the same problems that i was saying but he says if he is running it hard he doesnt go to limp mode. I think he was saying it has to do with the LOAD. Also scott or shane, whoever is reading this forum, that other RA has a MBC and getting the same problems so i dont think the boost pill is the problem. Thanks and i hope you can help us with this issue

If you are not receiving satisfactory service and want evom to help you, you should post a thread in the "Service and Tuning Review" section. It will certainly wake TTP up considering a LOT of people read through those threads.

Best of luck with your car I hope you can sort it out!

I'm going to see what scott can do. I would really like for him to be able to fix the tune.

He did tell me he was responding via his phone while I was talking to him about my concerns. So I will leave it to their defense that he simply overlooked how I tried to bring the topic to the issue im having a number of times and those attempts were unheard.

They seem to be more concerned with fighting back about my first concern on performance. Which I have already noted I was mislead with the numbers on Jonralli's tune they were talking about. It was my fault for assuming I would get the same numbers. Secondly, I am a noob and didnt really know how to look at the graph like I should.

However, I think i made it clear that this is not the issue and that the issue is the sound im hearing and that my questions were being overlooked so they could continue defending the numbers.

Apparently they are focused on posting my tuning results, because they feel that is our concern.

TTPEngineering (5:14:11 PM): if you look at your graph
TTPEngineering (5:14:24 PM): we will be posting it
Jeremy2701 (5:14:35 PM): im happy with the graph, it was a noob first look at it, and i will explain that on the forums
Jeremy2701 (5:14:45 PM): but this is not my concern, and i havent made it my concern on the forms
Jeremy2701 (5:14:46 PM): forums*
TTPEngineering (5:14:47 PM): since you have taken the initiative to post nothing but complaints
Jeremy2701 (5:19:01 PM): a complaint and concern is a bit different, this topic has continue on the fact that both of us have experienced issues with the drivability of the car, not the performance numbers
Jeremy2701 (5:19:38 PM): i told you already i dont care about the damn numbers, i just want a healthy car. and my posts on this forum was to find out if the tuning was at fault

Maybe you guys can try to figure out what the noise is. It sounds more like pressure being released (like when you press on the break pedal all the way). Again, it happens when im at a steady speed (around 45mph) in 6th gear.

either they are too busy, or too bitter to get back to me.

I asked how much it would cost, i was given a number. I would have expected them to say that is the cost for the flash + the dyno time.

Ohwell.
So what you are trying to say is that a 2008 Mustang Dyno AWD-500 model dynamometer power output results did not meet your Dynojet 424x model number expectations?

You do understand that they are two different dyno manufacturers?

You do understand that they do not read the same, nor are they designed the same as the more advanced Mustang Dyno AWD-500 is an eddy brake loaded dyno designed for the same aerodynamic drag and weight applied to the rollers so that the vehicle performs the same on the street as it does on the dyno?

We have not omitted any information from your line of questioning. When asked what tuning costs for reflashing a Lancer Ralliart, our response was $349 and dynotime.

At no point did we set your expectations to meet the results of a heavily modified lancer ralliart.

At no point did we estimate or infer ANY dyno numbers for you to expect whatsoever. If you chose to assume that your numbers were going to meet a certain goal, you set the goal yourself without our input.

We do not engage in the numbers game whether through DLL or in person. Each car is different and we set NO expectations for performance. The vehicle will do what it will do and that is it.

Its evident that you have zero experience analyzing a dynosheet. It is also evident that you are one of those individuals that are dead set on peak to peak gains in performance and nothing else matters.

We did our best to illustrate to you that your gains in performance extend up to 45whp+ while the boost control solenoid is stock and it is maxed out bringing peak boost from 16psi to 17.9psi and tapers to 13-14psi. Your gains will be limited without having an uprated boost pill or manual boost controller. For the slight change in boost, your have whp gains exceeding 20% of the output of the stock car.
