So long history short, I am a compulsive buyer. I go for one thing, come home spending much more.

Some examples:
- When I bought my 07 eclipse I bought it on the day I thought about getting a new car
- When I went looking for a mini SUV for my new husky, I came home with the ralliart
- When I went looking for a new tv, I came home with a couch.
- I bought the new tv 1 month later.

So, I plan to go to TTP in orlando for a reflash. However, I know I will end up coming home with much more done to my car. I will let you all know how it goes with pictures if any work is done :\

Hmm. I am a bit dissapointed. Numbers were not as near as what the ams flash provides. Perhaps I just didnt know what to expect going in as the guy was telling me numbers from a modded car (but forgetting to mention it was modded). Also forgot to mention I would be charged for dyno/hr.

I asked how much it would cost, i was given a number. I would have expected them to say that is the cost for the flash + the dyno time.

Also, during my drive home I noticed a sound coming from under the hood that sounded like something sliding across the dashboard (to get an idea of the noise). I am not sure what it was, but it happened 3 times. All the times I was going about 45mph in 6th gear. I was not accelerating when the noise happened all 3 times.

Any ideas?

Best part I was asking for possible work to be done and it didnt seem like they wanted to help out. They just shrugged everything off as dont bother when asking for stage 1 like upgrades.

 

Anyone have any idea what the noise might be that I am hearing?

 

hey i know how you feel..that person they were talking about was me. i got my car tuned yesterday from TTP and got the same type of service. I dont want to start saying anything else bad about them because i am now having a problem with the tune they gave me and i guess scott told me he is trying to fix it. I hope he is a man of his word.

I would really like my car set back to base and refunded. I feel scammed.


And this guy refuses to respond to my question about the noise. He will answer anything regarding the performance. but the second I ask about the sound again, no answer.

 

i ended up getting 287 hp/311 of tq.. great numbers and i have the sheet! but the car can only do that run once. after that my check engine goes on and the car goes to limp mode..freakin sucks. I told them about the CELS and they said that it were "overboost" cels and dont worry just reset the ecu and the car would be fine.. So after driving 600 miles and im getting close to home i noticed that the car wont downshift when i go to sport mode..whats up with that? i plug in the diagnostic ecu to find out the CELS and they are 2 air/fuel mixures cels and 2 other cels for the tranny. i know mechanically theres nothing wrong with the tranny, so its just the tune.

you and i both dude.. i would love my money back.. i dont know if i would be able to get it reflashed to base cause i dont live close at all ( dont feel like another 600 mile trip)and i dont have that cable to connect to the ecu. Im really trying to have patience with them, i thought they were being anti social cause we were from out of town, but business is business and i paid for a good realiable tune you know..
