damn ... i guess ill wait for someone else to do it first so they get some practice in before i bring mine lol

 

I got my letter today

 

+1 came the same day as my bill!

 

I recieved the same letter yesterday. What a hassle.

 

I booked my appointment on tuesday for both recalls.

whoever gets it before me, lemme know.

 

Like i said took over an hour, was a bit of a hassle the guy said. Once they get through more of them I am sure it will be easier and quicker...but not many out there so I doubt there will be a bunch before you

 

Got my letter on Friday, and went to the dealer on saturday morning. They finished it in an hour for me. The brake booster and the hoodcable.

Then my salesman wants me to trade up to an X. If it was an MR for a good deal...I would've been intereested...

They punched my VIN in at the desk and said I had the brake booster check valve too. I wasn't aware of that one, but they did it anyways. I only received the letter for the hood latch cable.

Just get it done. You don't want to be at the dealer with mods and stuff.

Oh yes, I remember the ralliart being recalled as well...

 

i got my letter for the hood latch but what id the recall for the brake booster? what is the brake booster? lol sorry for the newb question.

 

Well I am at the dealership right now, since I'm good friends with a lot of the guys here they are doing both recalls, the hood latch cable and the brake booster. See if my brakes feel any better or anything noticaible. Also they are replacing my front chrome trim since mine cracked somehow. Keep u posted.

 

i went in. they were done in an hour.
not sure if they touched the ecu, the car seems to be running the same.

 

I got all mine fixed took 2 1/2 hrs to do but was worth it got the cable fixed, brake booster fixed and chrome ring replaced free of charge.

 

I got the latch recall letter in the mail a number of days ago. *Midwest*
