Ralliart questions

I'm planning on trading my lancer for a ralliart.
Plain and simple, should i do it, or not....is the paint still cheap and is it a much better car in terms of performance.
Thanks

Definately better then the lancer and has some decent performance but don't expect too much of an evo feeling.

POWER:
The Ralliart is zippy in sport mode much more responsive then the Lancer GTS and a bit less responsive then the EVO X MR but no where near earlier model evos.

HANDLING:
Mitsu could have done alot more with this car in terms of suspension and some good performance tires. I'd say let that be one of your first mods.

ECONOMY:
Pretty good on gas concidering a turbo charged car.

WEIGHT:
ehhhh its a pig. but there isn't much you can do about that which wouldn't make it worth your time.

^ Agreed, I think the Ralliart is a bit of a pig on gas myself but great otherwise for street and light auto X. Get an EVO is you want to track or auto x regularly.

Night and day difference in a Ralliart from a GTS. Go test drive a Ralliart and then get back in your GTS. It could make a weak man cry.

Dead on with that statement man. My dad has a 09 lancer that i drove like crazy and when i test drove the Ralliart there was no comparison that i could really make. Its a completely different beast IMO and i would never go back. I also agree with the fact that it is a gas hog but if your not heavy on the gas you might last a week between fill ups. Only problems you'll have run into is if you let people that have reg lancers drive it they won't want to leave. Also watch out for the side bolsters on the Recaro's also.
