Could someone who has a nav system please do me a favor...
Here's my situation, i bought an aftermarket nav system and the metra dash trim just plain sucks. There are gaps everywhere and it's not even the same trim color. Could someone measure the lenght x height of the nav system so that i could confirm that the opening is the right size. I would like to know if my nav could fit in the oem part, if it does i will pick one up shortly. Thanks

the face plate(buttons and screen) is 8"x4" (actually maybe 8 1/32"x4 1/32") gap all around (cause the face opens to access the CD player (and HDD)) it's hard to tell the exact size under the plate because the plate folds down and edging is rounded, looks like about 8-3/32" x 4-3/32" Hope that helps.
