Moving to Germany

Well, I just found out that I will be heading to Germany in 8-10 months. I am coming down on orders to Heidelberg which is a 3 year assignment.

Any words of advice?

BTW, yes, I plan on bringing the RA.

^ Dude, Japan ROCKS. I spent 2 months there TDY, made some mad bank. LOL $100 a day per diem.

Do you ever go to the Austin meets? I went a couple weeks ago, I had a great time and saw some awesome cars!

I'm currently in the Killeen area, stationed at Ft. Hood.

If I had the cash I would buy an FQ400, but that's not gonna happen. I still want an Evo X MR, it all depends on the prices over there, if they are higher I may have to wait until I come back state side. However, I plan to keep the RA and pass it on to my daughter when she gets older and I have my Evo.

This.

Although I don't think Germans would appreciate custom American parts? Good luck in Deutschland man . Let us know what the locals over there think of the RA.

I actually just spent 5 yrs in Germany. It was great the autobahn is very nice. You need to take that bad boy to the ring. Also If I remember correct there is a real good mitsu mechanic over by a post called schweinfurt. You probable will get offers on your car from the germans they love our cars just as much as we love there's. If you have questions just PM me....Laters

I'm pretty sure most cars in europe cost more than the same car in the states - at least in places like england. However, many of the performance oriented models put out more power than the versions we get here.

Have fun out there. Just make sure you get yourself some good summer, and winter rubbers.
