they wont buy them unless they go on a race only type car, they have a stiff inspection process... everything has to be approved by TUV even getting aftermarket wheels takes paperwork to do.

Uhh gas will be RIDICULOUS.

How much is that transport gonna cost you roughly?

Well, sadly my orders got deleted, so no free trip to Germany.

Being as I am active duty Army, it would have been paid for, house hold goods and 1 car shipped at the Army's expense. Alas it was not to be.

That sucks dude. I'm heading back to Germany in Dec-Jan time frame when I get out of the Air Force. The wife is from there and we are heading back for her family. Very excited about testing the ralliart on Nurburgring.

Any words of advice?

BTW, yes, I plan on bringing the RA.

Been there done that. Are you moving to the base housing?, if so they are located outside(in front) of the main headquarters facing the mountains.
The post(base) is divided in for military installations. You will love that place, the river, the castle, the mountains, the town, the train station, etc.

Housing is huge, 3-4 floor buildings with attics and also undergorung storage, the floors are made of wood, very nice. There is a convinient Shoppette on the base housing outside the main headquarters, that is where you can get your licor and all the good stuff.

Good luck, you just got yourself a heck on an assigment. Just be prepared for the strict TUV car inspection.,
