HID Foglights and Halogen Headlights on GG RA??

I tried the HIDs on my headlights but they flickered during the day because of the DRL and I don't feel like dealing with the bypass so I returned them to halogen. But what do you guys think if I turned my foglights to HID? Would that look good with the halogen headlights? Has anyone done that with pictures by any chance?

Maybe try turning your lights on, and leaving them on all the time, without using the DRL at all. I've been doing some research in HID for my halogens, and I've run into many people saying this: Just leave your lights on and they shouldn't flicker.

As for the HIDs in fog lamps, I couldn't be too sure about without seeing someone who has them in already, as you noted.

here you go!

INFO taken from www.LancerTuners.com ( my forum )

****I AM NOT THE SELLER OF THESE BYPASS CIRCUITS.

I take no credit in creating the circuitry and solution of eliminating the Daytime Running Lights in our 08/09 Lancers. I simply follow this How-To, created and submitted by afeudale, and provide you with the completed product. I build the circuit shown and construct it WITHIN a Relay Harness--This includes parts/time/labor/etc.

**Any type of electrical wiring is dangerous and can be harmful to you and your car if not installed with the proper care. When purchasing this DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness, you assume full responsibility and potential risks in running this completed product.

The DRL Bypass will simply eliminate the DRL's. Therefore, no flickering is present when running HID's. The DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness is completely Plug & Play and requires no splicing whatsoever with the OEM wiring, thus saving you from any warranty issues and/or headaches. With the bypass properly installed, all lights will assume normal function:

Position 0 - All lights OFF, DRL's OFF
Position 1 - Parking lights ON, DRL's OFF
Position 2 - Low beams ON, Parking lights ON

Here's a video to show the function of the DRL Bypasses that I provide:

DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness:

*Price:
$55 local meet up
$60 shipped

*Price includes shipping expenses + paypal fees (2.9% + $0.30)

*Payment:
Paypal (preferred), Money order, or Cash.

*Shipping:
I ship your DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness via USPS First Class Mail. At your convenience, I also include tracking & confirmation.

*Returns:
Void after 2 weeks from purchase.
Void if the DRL bypass is tampered in anyway. I will know, I made it.
Valid only for defected/faulty products.
Will only offer a full refund if the DRL Bypass is confirmed (by ME) to be defective.

Installation Instructions: CLICK

I have been running this setup DRL Bypass w/ Relay Harness since March 12, 2009, with no issues/problems. I have also sold multiple sets on Project Lancer and EvolutionM where members can vouch for me and the completed product.

I am currently in the process of making about 10 sets. If you are interested and/or have questions, please feel free to send me a PM.

Thank you for your interest!

Oh I know about all the bypass stuff and how to do it, I just don't want to deal with it at all. I have to do extra wiring and pay a bunch more money and it's just not worth it for me. The fog lights seem much easier which is why I asked. Anyone have any opinions about just HIDing the foglights? Maybe like a different HID color like purple or something??

Why would you want your fogs to be purple thus making them useless?
