So I went to AMS for my b-day to day to treat myself with some new toys. Got with my guy Dan (He's helped me out in the past). Wanted to see how the RA exhaust sounded so Dan started up the RA for me. It sounded great inside and out, I also gave it a few revs to get the full experiance. The were running the FPRed with the X down pipe, resonated test pipe and the RA cat back. It had nice deep sound (almost brought a tear to my eye). The he said get in I'll take u for a spin! My face lit up like a fat kid in a candy store. Told the wife I'd be back! So we got in and started on my magical journey. Didnt get to go to far cuz the cops don't really care for their passion like we do. He did get on it a few times. The RA pulled like a mother!! Got plowed into the seat. I swear that I felt some of my blood flowing threw the pores on the back of my head and body. Good times. Gotta go still making my way home.

So I went ahead a got the single exit exhaust. Sounds good!

Also did a little digging.
If you are looking at gettin the FP Red you will need an Evo X down pipe, the turbo, oil line and a few other little things and it will bolt right up. NICE!!! They are pushing about 370Whp!!

The trans cooler works very well. The shifts felt sharp and quick. You can't hear it when your driving or even outside when the car was on. They haven't had any problems with the SST at all. They took it to the track a few weeks ago and the SST never went into Limp mode. A must have if you're ever going to the track. (To protect that $7000 SST)

Those of you waiting for the Dual Exhaust. Stop waiting. It will NOT be coming for a long time if ever. Sales on the RA are slow so they don't have enough demand to justify both exhausts. (Maybe this clunker credit will help sales!) I gave in and got the single. I'm gonna fab something to cover the other opening. And if it looks good i'll produce some to sell.

Last but not least.
Ladies and Gentlemen hold off on purchasing those wheels. AMS will be bringing us a big brake kit from.....

You'll need new wheels with the brake kit anyway. The spokes are too shallow on the stock wheels to clear the calipers.

Will you be able to get the proper offset for me so I can plan ahead. That way I only have to buy one set of wheels.

 

Proper offset will vary depending on how wide of a wheel your going.....
