No don't sand it, but clean it really good first. It should pull off nice and clean if you decide you don't like it.

friend of mine's wife has access to a vinyl cutter and software and all that good stuff, so he had her make some little diamonds out of a vinyl that according to her, they actually use for cheap disposable chalkboards. funny thing is, i was really skeptical, but it was free so whatever. when i saw it though, its literally the exact same color and texture as the plastic in the front bumper. what luck huh? ok, heres the pics, theyre kinda crappy since theyre from my cell phone, but you should get the general idea.

may not be to everyone's taste, but i like it.

Debadged shortly after I got the car, never looked back. The only thing I debated was doing the diamonds. I ended up taking them off, looks so much cleaner.

Order a new badge and black it out. I don't think they are too expensive. Under $20 I'm sure. I don't think 3M tape will hold up either.

actually, its like 30 bucks at the dealer, is rediculous about their chrome, even as an employee. aftermarket never fits quite right tho...

Your "crappy" cell phone pics look good... if they look good now, I bet they are so sharp in person! More pics!

I left the RalliArt and the . It does stick out cuz it's the only chrome on the backside other than the trim in the tails. Looks good tho, gotta represent Mitsu!
