no the rx8 is a piece of junk... period; lol... I really think Mazda should make such a Sporty looking car, an actual performer... supposedly it's got Evo-like handling if not better, but still... wtf! handling will define a race for you but what about power to exit the corners after you're done with the handling part

And I considered that car all through my teenage years...

But back on topic:

Yesterday I had 2 guys talking a bunch of stuff next to me while I parked at JR Electronics (local store) to get a quote on an audio system (something soft, nothing crazy... I was to pump it up a little) and getting me some white H11's for my Foglights, and as I got out the car I hear this guy say how he spanks a G37 (I was like "ha... really") He's got a 240 with some weird paint job and some w.e wheels, but I can see he's all talk, he's going off like crazy... I went in the store and I'm still looking outside to make sure they're not sitting on my car's hood and what not (they were way too close lol) and as I get out I still hear them talk and oddly nobody's paid attention to my car yet... I get iside the RA, start it, and then all of them (about 4 dudes) turn over to look at my RA, and I heard the 240 driver loud and clear when he looked at my front bumper and said "WTF IS THAT MAN?!?!" and then the other guys were speechless (I was like what the heck... it's not like I'm a V8 or anything that loud haha) then one of the other guys start pointing at my intercooler frantically, and they all lean down to check it out... they stared at it while I was leaving, checking the wheels too and finally the rear of the car ( I saw it all through the rearview mirror lol ) and then saw me as I took off and slammed it (I left it in auto and threw it in sport mode purposedly haha)... lsat thing I saw one of the guys go like this:

 

ahahaha the best stories are the ones that leave people with their mouth open

 

I'm living in the hood ATM, when I'm not worried that my RA is gonna get jacked, I get some hilarious comments on the RA from the most random people.

Kids and their 240's.

I had an ambulance driver check my car out today as he was driving by, sirens blaring and everything.

Not to go off topic but becareful there is an insane gold S15 running around. I saw dude do a drift through an intersection then took off like a *****.

So these past few days my friends and I have had nothing to do but just sit at Sonic and Eat/ talk. We are all 18/19 years old and sadly they are all ricers with underglow n stuff ( i am only car without underglow lol)
Anyways every 15min some car, usually old eclipse or civic and once even a stock srt4 has to come by and try to show off by revving and it gets soo annoying. My buddy Ray always has to shut them up by using me. Car comes by revving and my friend runs towards them( drive thru) and says same thing everytime.

Friend: "Hey your revving your engine like you want to race?"
showoff: (suprised) uhhh ok what you got?
Friend: Check that lancer, he says he will drop $100 or more
showoff: (stares at my car) ummm idk....( makes some excuse, has no money or has to be somewhere)
Friend: oh well if you can't back it up , why u revving your ****( walks away and shakes his head no to us)
My friends and I just laugh and it never gets old

 

Some of the Scooby guys ask if it's AWD.

We have a pretty good crowd here at Ft. Hood and I usually just wave to the fellow Evo/Sti/WRX/RA guys when they drive by. Yes I show love to the base Lancer crowd as well, though they tend to wave back less.

Co-workers generally say they like the car, and I got a LOT of hard stares when I first drove up to work with it, including some pretty big jaw drops. I love the car, and that's really all that matters.

I did have a cougar tell me she likes the car, she said it looks like a snake?!?!?!

The girls at Starbucks give it a lot of compliments, but I just put it in the same category as flirting, it helps their tips.

 

Was at a car GTG and I parked next to a Evo X MR.
A guy walked up and asked if they where the same car, so I went into the typical explanation of all the difference's and how the MR has this and that...and I DON'T and then I went into price difference etc.... well long story short he looked at my car and looked at the MR and said " well yours looks better" I'll take that as a very good compliment as we all know how good a MR looks !!

PS Forza 3 demo is available on Xbox360 and it has the MR as one of the cars you can drive, its Right hand drive to boot

 

^ Nah I rather keep playing GT5 Prologue or NFS Shift :-P
Btw going off topic, NFSS is the friggin bomb... incredible work; it's as good as GT5 if not better IMO

NFS Shift does look really good and i've heard goods things. I had Prologue but got rid of it cause i was tired of driving stock cars and the GTR was too much power for me so i bought the Evo, that was way more controllable. I'm tryin to get Dirt 2 as well, the 1st one was great.

Your welcome jus make sure u go to a closed course so you can talk about how it went .

 

Mostly I get looks, smiles from the ladies, and the occasional upward nod. The only comment that has really stuck in my head:

"........****ing Evo or not, it still a gook-assed riceburner."
