there is a local Sportback with the 3 wings on it.

Quite entertaining, we call it the space ship.

I just want the lower wing and remove the upper one already in place. In my mind it looks really cool.

I'd rather someone makes a rear wing that sticks up a little and actually offers some downforce, much like the rear wing on the Focus RS

I hate red. But that car really does look good. The whole package is nice. The double rear wing is a perfect fit. They need to make that an aero package option when people buy a sportback....

It's the worst camera angle on both our Sportbacks and that green goo RS. A wing further down looks better imo but offcourse will block some of the rear view.

Yeah but a wing that sticks up more and actually offers some downforce would be soooo good. The wing on the RS looks awesome in the flesh.

Why not?????

On the track you notice that the rear end is a little looser than it should be. Apart from suspension mods (which I have started) a little more downforce wouldn't go astray.

It was to demonstrate what I was talking about.

I could have been really discraceful and posted a pic of a STI

The seadan guys have plenty of options when it comes to rear wings, what I'd like is someone to start giving SB drivers some options too.

From an aero standpoint - it will not provide any downforce. Kinda' like the 'spoiler' on the Corolla....

This is just a towel-rack

I was more or less referring to the focus.

How would a more agressive and larger rear spoiler not provide additional downforce when going 200+KM/H on a racetrack????????

At normal street speeds you're correct, no additional downforce, BUT on the track where I noticed the rear end being twitchy, it would be a definate advantage.
