running aftermarket hid on mine using a relay harness from jrox on these forums. cost me 60 bucks and totally worth every penny. no flickering, no drl at all. search the forum for his thread and watch the video. awesome product.

if you have the factory HIDs then just pull fuse 13 in the engine fuse box

I have a capacitor harness on mine that I got when I ordered the kit from one of the vendors here. I still have DRLs but that doesn't bother me.

EDIT: hidextra.com is the vendor I got mine from. I think they are $15 on their site, or free if you ordered from them, just call tech support and explain your problem.

You can order them on a group buy now, ultra slim ballast from AutoMoGlow on Project Lancer for $75 shipped. You can add the anti flicker kit for $5

I am debating about doing a HID conversion on my RA, but do you need projector lenses or are the standard lenses okay to use?

you can use the factory housing. but for better quality out of any HID's, projectors are the sh*t!
projectors help with the glare so that you kinda dont blind the oncoming traffic. they also look alot better than the non projectors.

Unfortunately new HID housings are.....$330....each. That's the only thing keeping me from converting.

I honestly would not get HIDs for my headlights unless I had projectors. Regular lenses will blind oncoming traffic, which was eluded to above.
