Help!! lights going out after 3 seconds...

I changed my parking light bulb from the normal bulb to an led bulb from v-leds. After i put them both in and put it in reverse, they turned on and went off after about 3 seconds. what could possibly cause this?

Sounds like you got a dodgy batch. I know someone who replaced theirs with LED's in an Evo X with no issues.

Today i tried something different... i put one in and left the other bulb stock. The bulbs did not turn off... I even tried switching between the 2 led bulbs to make sure it wasnt one faulty bulb but when i had one factory bulb in, they did not turn off. What can i do?

Try flipping the bulbs in the harness 180 degrees? I'm not sure offhand which bulb type these are specifically, but for some of these bulbs there is an incorrect way for them to be installed even though it is not clear when you look at the setup. Good luck!

speak to v-leds? It has to be something simple. Do you have a multimeter and have you watched what is happening to the circuit when this problem occurs? I wouldn't think it would have to do with resistance, especially since just one LED works (even less resistance). You obviously aren't overloading the circuit with LEDs since they require so little power.

You need to hook up a load resistor. I had the same problem, it's written about on the forum at least 5 times. It's a 50w 6ohm resistor. eBay.

You should've just spent your money for something else(performance) rather getting the LED strips.
