Roof Rack?

Hi all, has anyone installed a roof rack on the 2009 Ralliart? Any recommendations? I've searched around but haven't found anything definitive about what works/what doesn't.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

I was just going to ask this also. I have a rack for my 04 Ralliart so all I would need are new Q clips. I went to Yakima's site and they don't list any for the 09 Ralliarts.

roof racks

On this very forum I found the answer for using Thule. I had the aero bars and towers and all I had to do was get the feet that fit an 06-08 corolla, yes that is a toyota. try it it works, and I even posted a pic I think. search it.

Has anyone tried the Yakima? Q99 and Q31. They confirmed Thule fitment but not Yakima.

Cool, thanks people!! I searched high and low and couldn't find the right answer.

I went to the rack place last night and they want to drill 12 holes in the roof for $650.

I'd rather not have holes in my roof. Have been looking into removable ski racks, and so far I've only found this: http://www.rackattack.com/product-pa...erra-sx-11.asp

So I am going to Tahoe for the weekend so I picked up the Q99 and Q31 as suggested. The front ones (Q99) fit well. The rears work but I don't really like the fitment. I am going to use them for this trip. Then I will try to find some that fit better. Hopefully Yakima will tell us a better clip to use.

Careful with those Q Towers above the windows. Be sure to use some clear bra material where the metal touches paint, or pad the hell out of the clips. They scratched my paint up pretty bad this past summer.

Yeah, I've opted to not use the untested Q Towers for now. I really don't want to scratch the paint.

I just wrapped the metal part with a little electrical tape where it would touch a painted surface, has not been a problem on my car in 4 years of on/off use.

^ +1 Yeah, you just need to wrap the end with electrical tape.
