Hi I have had my car (RA)for a month now and would love to do some mild mods. I have been told by my dealership that ANY mods will void the warranty. I think these cars should be bullet proof the only thing that scares me is the gearbox! any thoughts?

 

Pretty much sums it up. This gearbox is the main limiter in terms of modding. ANd losing the warranty is extra scary because the damn transmission costs $9,000 dollars.

Also, when they say "voids the warranty", it isnt exactly like that. If you tune your engine, and your tranny blows and they can prove it, yea your probably screwed.
However if your windows stop working they cant deny a claim due to what you did unless they prove the changes you made directly caused the problem.
