Ralliart rocks in the snow!

We go our first major snow in my area yesterday so I took my Ralliart out to play. That thing was an absolute tank! It's amazing how well that thing went with a set of Blizzaks. Just re-affirmed that I made the right choice when I purchased my Ralliart.

I was out at 2am flying down the streets on my conti DWS. The chunky tread really gripped the snow, enough that I was able to go at the speed limit with 12 inches of fresh unplowed snow on the ground. Thanks to the fact that everyone here runs on bald a/s tires, I was passing suv's and 4x4's like crazy.

I was driving around for like 2 hours and traction control only kicked in once or twice. I didn't let the car get too sideways but it seems like it allows me to get sideways when I floor it and lets me drift a little around a corner w/o interfering.

The anti-lock also seems to stop blipping at below 10mph cause I had a couple of stops where it would allow the wheel to lock up and build up a small mound of snow in front of it to stop.

We didn't get as much snow in State College as you did in Lancaster, but my RA blew billy goats in the snow. The roads were not plowed or treated with anything at all on Saturday. But, I am still on the Advans at the moments.

Yeah, I'd get some snow tires. It'll make your life a lot easier. It only took one day of my wife b!tiching about driving in the snow on her Advans for me to throw some Blizzaks on for her.

Advans are GOD AWFUL in the snow (obviously, hence Summer tires lol). Blizzacks are well worth the expense IMO
