The antenna thing is cool, makes me feel like I'm arming something.

 

You could pull the antenna out in a public place; hit the button to start your car; pretend you're talking into a mic on your sleeve, and say "Device armed. Heading out."

Then proceed to speed-walk to your car and drive off.

If you could use the FAST fob with the remote starter. I'd be all over it.

I got the remote starter last week. haven't really had time to look it over. so is the only way to have it activated is going to the dealership?

mattp 160, we can do it at AMS. We have the Mut-III scan tool. The remote start option in the etacs was already turned on in my car. If yours is the same, it may work without reprogramming.

 

so today my damn dog chewed up the remote for the remote car starter.. does anyone know how I can get another one?

I just got done installing the remote starter off of mitsubishiparts.net
The insall was a cake walk. nothing hard about it. However I'm wondering if anyone knows how I activate this thing. I hope I don't have to take it to the dealership and have them charge me 200 bucks to hook a computer up to the car and do one mouse click in a check box.

 

instructions is always a good place to start.

 

Instructions only say how to activate the remote.

 

We have a Mut III scan tool. We can activate it in the ETACS settings.

 

How much would you charge for that?

 

dealer here you go!!!! lol i wanted on of those but its just a hassle when you can only start the car from like 75ft away takes what the dealership told me lol
