schedule of changing transmission and differential fluid...

what is the right schedule or mileage to change our transmission and differential fluid? and do we really need to go to the dealer or we can do this on our own cheaper ways?

Did you get the little scheduled maintenance book when you bought the car?

I think it's 15K miles but don't quote me on that. I'm getting to that point myself. I thought at one time I saw that mitsubishiparts.net had a 15K service kit for a decent price that included all the special fluids required. Unfortunately there isn't a "how to" for this like their is for a oil change. It should be pretty straight forward to do I just haven't done it yet to tell you how to do it. The owners manual tells you the amount of each fluid needed and what type.

AFAIK, the kit I saw did not contain any fluids. It's a simple oil change with changing a couple filters

used to work for mitsu and had access to all that info, but i dont now, but im pretty sure its around 30k for ur trans/diff fluids. depending on how you drive the car, i do mine every 15k thru the dealer. easiest bet for most people, is to just take it in to the dealer, and let them mess with it. costs a lil more, but they've got guys that SHOULD know what they are doing.

Here is the 15k maintenance kit from Mitsubishiparts.net:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/mi...rvice-kit.html

Here is the documentation outlining what goes on at each service interval:
https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...fications.html

^ This above document says its for the Evo X, but you can bet your bottom dollar this is how the dealership will determine when and what to do at each service interval for the Ralliart.

They only CHECK the differential and transmission fluids at 15k miles. They will CHANGE the differential fluids out at 30k, and change out the TC-SST fluids at 60k miles. They change out the differential fluid every 30k miles, FYI.

Good luck, have fun.

Maybe it was their Ebay store then because the kit I saw had all the fluids necessary. I think it was an Evo X (MR) and Ralliart kit.
