Foglights
Foglights
I had my lights on today as I was sitting in front of a store and I noticed my foglights were on but they weren't, the light on the cluster was on. Anyone else having this issue?
Well if you don't think they ever worked I wouldn't even bother trying to fix it yourself and take it straight to the dealer and have them fix your issue. Plus, I don't care how new the car is, if you have an electrical problem you can blow fuses plain and simple. That's why I wouldn't even mess with it if it's brand new and have the dealer look at it.

If you have a cut in the insulation of the positive (+12 V) wire running to either one of the fog lights and the bare wire is touching something metal you could cause a short when you turn the fog light switch on. This would then cause the fuse to blow even if the fog light was not connected/plugged in.
seriously if you can't check a fuse then just take it back to the dealership. you do have warranty.
if the fuse is blown try and replace it ONCE. AND DO NOT INCREASE THE FUSE (10a to 15a for example)
if it blows again after turning the switch on you got a short.
