Ralliart Trade In
The dealer worked great with me. I picked up a 2010 PBP GSR. It's an amazing car I have to say. I've been wanting a Evo for 6+ years and it was worth the wait. I can't lie when I say I'll miss my RA though. The RA is a great and fun car to drive. I still reach for the paddles every once in a while, and I still reach to throw it in auto but I'll get used to a manual again. Thanks to everyone in the RA community for all the help and info over the past few months. I'll still be checking in on the RA's progress and to see what Ryan comes up with.

I have to tell you that as a college student, the Ralliart is about the best car I could ever hope to have at this point in my life. I would feel like a ***** driving around a car that cost an entire year of schooling. Plus, it snowed over 7 inches here in NC over the weekend, and my RA drove around PERFECTLY all day long. I mean, it was unreal.
Plus, I am fairly certain that given a few years, I will come up with something that I will be equally as happy with as I would have been with an EVO X MR. Yes, I am going to have to cut out and replace a WHOLE LOT more of my current car to get it where I want it than I would with an EVO, but I really do enjoy learning and am interested in getting a more fundamental understanding of what I am doing and why than I would with an EVO that I would end up blowing all my money on and not be able to modify at all anyways. Plus, coming from a FWD 3G Eclipse, this thing is a dream, trust me. I don't know if some of you know how good you really have it with an RA. But hey, just my $.02.
I had a dealership offer me 24k for mine. I had 6000 miles on it. They had a 08 GSR in same Octane blue as my RA. They were selling it for 28k with 11,000 miles on it. I almost did it, but I can barley afford my RA as it is. Sucks when you get divorced and get stuck trying to pay the mortgage on your own. I’m thinking an EVO or a new 5.0 Mustang in 2 years. By that time I should be in better financial shape.
they gave him 18,500 for his ralliart and now they are asking 26k for it (lol)

I've actually been looking at this RA that lancer0220 linked to on autotrader. I don't want to get rid of my Spyder but a baby carseat doesn't fit back there. I've watched as they've lowered the price to where they are now asking $23k. Does anybody know the guy that traded this one in? It sure would be good to know just how hard it was driven before I go look at it. It certainly got a lot of miles on it in a short preriod of time. It's been out there for over a month now so I feel like going over there and offering them $19k. I would appreciate it if I could get some ideas as to what I might realistically get this car for. Sorry for all the questions. I just want to go to the dealership armed to the teeth.
I went to trade it in for $24,750 (Canadian). I got to the dealership and they told me that they have some bad news for me. "We stapled someone elses paperwork to the back of yours, so the monthly payments went up." My monthly payments went up by $120. I said screw it and just kept the Ralliart.
Ha, I was looking at that same RA, didn't end up getting it. Did anyone here? I really want a X MR, but the price is pushing my budget, I might have to settle for a RA. How much did you guys here in SATX or surounding areas pay for your RA or EVO?
Alright so I got a question. A month and a half ago I placed a call to a dealer in efforts to trade my ralliart. I was being offered 18,500 for trade in towards a new purchase. I was venturing out with the intent of seeking for a less moderate payment. I know a little bit about negative equity and decided not to pursue it. I am still confused about it and was wondering if anyone here would know about it more in depth. If I were to get 18,500 back in trade in with no additional money down towards a 26,000 vehicle plus whatever I still owe on the vehicle would that still not reduce the payment since more money has been invested into your new purchase. I got the ralliart for 25,000 flat with 0.0% apr for 60 months. I have already paid 5,000 off the purchase price. The dealership stated it would be a significantly lower payment but I didnt trust it as I have read up on negative equity. Any help would be appreciated?
