Oil change & rotate tires every 5k (Full synthetic)

Evo X Intercooler, GST Boost Pill and tune, New Filter @ 15k miles

 

just rolled over 15kms so thats what.. 9500 miles.

I have alot of mods that have been on the car when i got it at 1500 miles.

~5700 since October '09. Oil change to Pennzoil Platinum and Purolator PureONE at 5000. I plan to follow the scheduled changes at 5000 but will replace the filter every time instead of every 10,000.

I'm a little surprised by the people changing out synthetic oil in 3000 miles.

 

12***km since October 09. First oil change at 5500km. Second to come shortly.

22,600 only had since july 09 mainly highway. tbe, ams base flash, evo x intercooler. in the 12's stock turbo snow tires. amsoil dominator racing oil every 3-4 k no issues whatsoever great car so far except the paint

 

11K Got her in august 09. I use full M1 synthetic and change every 4K

I dont see why we need to rotate our tires? Dont AWD cars tires wear the same all around anyway? LOL

 

Do you steer with your rear wheels?

Do you have perfect 50/50 weight distribution?

The front tires don't necessarily contact the ground exactly the same as the rear tires do.

 

just hit 8k about 20 minutes ago, no issues at all. 2 oil changes (2800,6000) alternating royal purple/mobil 1 synth. Using Mobil 1 filters. Rotation at 5k, alignment at 7.5k. didn't go in for the maintenance warning on the dash around 5k, checked everything myself.

 

1 year old(2,800 miles) mobil1 5w -30,k&n oil filter,hks drop in

 

Evo 10 guys running oil below with great success,, you guys can run this up to 15K no problems at all,,, and dont feel like you are the first one ever to run this oil that high lots of cars already doing it.

 

i'm thinking of switching to amsoil.it was only a little more than mobil 1.heard really good things about amsoil.
