retune question

I've run into an interesting thought. let's say I want to put on some part that is going to require a tune. Now with my old NA 240sx I'd just suck it up and drive it to the shop. Wasn't the best plan, but that car was just my spare track car. question being, how sensitive are these 4b11's? I'd just put the parts on outside my shop I use, but I don't know if it's worth the time doing "parking lot mechanic" when I have actual tools at home.

thoughts?

If you have to drive to a shop to get parts tuned after you installed them, drive like a grandma and stay out of boost or just wait til you get to the shop before you install the parts.

I don't know why you are so worried. Just drive the car slowly. Keep it under 3k and under speed limit. Even with an intake your not going to cause the motor to knock and blow up...
These motors are built for boost. The big problem is when the car is under extreme load along with high boost WOT. That's when there are big problems.

This man speaks the truth.

Unless you're swapping your turbo I wouldn't be too worried about boosting or not.
