not top notch, but it doesn't really matter what brand you get for gauge pods.

my friend is using this pillar also, color is different from the stock pillar & the fitment is 80%..

i use a vortex generator from rexspeed, the quality is good but the fitment is very poor...

Actually the A-piller is teathered at the top and hinged at the bottom. If the teather breakes loose it would swing towards the windshield. Since the airbag comes out the top towards the side. It's been covered many many times, even with pics for those who need them. LMAO
When it comes to accidents, you won't know what will happen. IMO just play safe, try placing behind your steering wheel or above your speedometer (don't do this if you're short) =) JK .
