Sorry for posting this here, but i think RA owners would know more about this.

Ive got an 09 ralliart which I load my own roms into using openecu and the tactrix cable.

Tried checking out my buddies 08 Lancer GTS specs with it and after an attempted read it said It cant find a definition for it, now his check engine light is on and the maintanence wrench says off on his car. Ive tried hitting the reset dts (w,e its called) to reset the error messages but it wont let me.

Any clue? Just how to reset the error messages??

 

Have you tried hooking up a regular ODBII reader and seeing if you can clear any codes that way?

Error messages randomly disappeared. Im going to continue researching this and I hope get more feedback as to not just say "problem solved" without knowing what happned.

- Taranis , no i havent as I do not have one. Can anyone confirm that you can infact read a lancer gts ecu using a tactrix?

 

Yes I have read and tuned one.

You need to "clear DTCs" after reading or writing a ROM, just like you need to with the RA/Evo SST's. You can load any rom into Ecuflash and it will then let you select Clear DTCs, just don't write the random rom to the car.
