Ya we found this out in feb or 09 when I first got a custom tune by GST (no boost pill)
Tuned RA = stock evo X in a strait line. I ran 13.7 with everyting stock but a tune, a buddy of mine who is a good driver kept busting out 13.8 completly stock. This was in Nor cal so numbers will vary by region

This is the internet; you do not need actual facts to make a point.

You have to build up to the two step limiter with a couple pedal taps, not just stomping on it.

No offense, those are nice numbers for the RA even with a rough launch and FWD however, just do that math and you can see it does not add up so therefore, I am not shocked and blown out of the water by this video.
wrong. the only way i've ever launching is by pinning the gas pedal and bouncing off the two step. always worked for me.

Worst Evo driver in the world, lol. Nice time on that RA given the mods and no launch. I don't see what the commotion was all about the title is on topic with the video.

Yeah meng, imagine... this FWD Lancer GTS-Ralliart Edition with 168hp beating an Evo huh... go figure

but well, assuming an '08+ GSR has 240whp and a tuned Ralliart has about 240whp as well, a bit lighter and a Transmission with a gear change programming that not even Mike Schumacher can mimic, the result is the Ralliart being a few tents faster than the stock Evo. Big deal... it still a modded vs a stock car.

Keep in mind that the Ralliart also has a smaller turbo so it's top end isn't fantastic. 240 WHP at 4000 RPM is a bit different than 240 WHP at lets say 5500 RPM.

I doubt it's making 300 WHP on anything but the nicest dyno in the world.
