09 Ralliart Stage 2 Tune

I am having my 09 RA tuned to a stage 2 in the next couple weeks (waiting on parts to arrive) and I wanted to find out if anyone out there has upgraded their RA to a stage 2 tune with only a drop in high-flow intake filter and turb-back exhaust. If so, what were your Dyno readings? I have seen one similar tune from Cobb at 262hp and 310 ft/lb.

The car with 262/310 is Runaround. He has a HKS drop in filter, high flow cat, downpipe and a catback.

I haven't seen any other dyno readings with Cobb Stg 2 since the stage 2 maps came out less than a week ago.

I actually have a K&N filter, but the rest of that list is right. I believe that running the COBB stage 2 tune without having a high flow cat could be dangerous. They are expecting a certain amount of air flow on the tune, and the standard cat would be much more restrictive. I would hold off till you get a high flow cat before doing the stage 2. If you haven't put on any of the exhaust yet, I would wait till you have the high flow cat and they can just do it all at once. Makes it easier to install it that way, and then you aren't paying for it twice.

I agree with Runaround. Wait until you at least upgrade your exhaust (turbo-back). The tune is designed to work with a certain flow of air through your engine/exhaust. Upgrading the exhaust and having it tuned at the same time will save you money in the long run.
