Question Tune after installing new BOV?

So right now my RA is running a Cobb stage 2 tune, with a Cobb EBCS, but the rest of it is stock. I just had a new Evo X OEM BOV delivered. Can I install this without having to get a different tune, or would the Cobb tune have accounted for any BOV leaking that will mess things up with the non-leaky evo BOV?

You can drive around no problem, but if the leak was extremely bad you will need a retune for full throttle driving.

Ahh, great. I don't think it had a terrible leak from before, so I just installed it and went for a brisk joyride, and didn't notice any problems. Thanks!

Doesnt the stage 2 require a turbo back exhaust? The very least a HFC or test pipe?

Nope, stage 2 is just the EBCS, stage 3 is a turboback.

No need to create a new post for this when there is PLENTY of documentation supporting no need for a tune.

Below are good references to prevent any further posts.

If you have a boost gauge installed it would be the easiest way to find out if you have any leaks. I have an evo x bov and have no issues with it building psi in anyway or form. So you should be good. Although if youre interested. Innovate Motorsports has a really nice digital boost gauge that is programmable as well to suit your boost needs. Its like $150-160 i cant remember and super easy to install.
